Every idea, every forward-looking step begins with the vision of a talented person.

Even as a fellow, Manfred Landig was known for not being satisfied with the state of affairs. As a passionate hunter and refrigeration engineer, he worked on new cooling possibilities for game and developed unique solutions for it. The foundation stone for a rapidly developing company from Germany has been laid.

The Landig Family

Since its foundation in 1982, the company grew from a small office with workshop to a globally operating company. The company with family tradition, located in the south of Germany, is today led by Manfred Landig together with his sons Christian, Aaron and Andreas. It still has the manufactory character of those early days. People who tackle and give their best for their customers.

From his earliest days, Manfred Landig has had a passion for invention. A keen hunter and refrigeration engineer, he imagined a better way of cooling game, and in 1982 started his own company to turn that dream into reality. Offering high quality and exceptional customer service, Manfred’s company quickly expanded nationwide.

By 2008, Manfred’s small company had expanded across Europe, earning a reputation as a market leader in meat processing and cooling, vacuum technology, and sous vide. But despite this growth, one thing remained constant: a singular focus on providing high-quality products.
This attitude continues to drive the company today.

Manfred’s two sons, Christian and Aaron, had grown up tinkering with equipment in their father’s shop. Manfred initially encouraged them with fatherly concern, but by 2012 it became clear their work was more than just child’s play—they had discovered the secret to better meat maturation. Now there would be no stopping them.

2013

After countless hours of designing and building, the two brothers finally introduced their new meat processor to the world. They launched the DRYAGER website and began presenting their invention to trade fair audiences. The reception they encountered was nothing short of phenomenal! But it was just the beginning...

The DRYAGER Dry Aging fridge can hardly be stopped. The product is presented to the market, the website goes online and the first trade fair appearances are launched. The interest is enormous. The Landig brothers had not expected such a sensation. But this is only the beginning...

Now DRYAGER units are available around the world, and it’s time to bring the world’s best-tasting meat to the home of barbecue. After a long wait and many twists and turns, we’re finally able to say: DRYAGER has arrived in the U.S.A.!
